Stain is necessary specifically to prevent exterior timber frame from bleaching out from UV, and exposure to the climate's elements. It also provides an additional natural layer of protection to your beautiful solid wood timbers and lumber. While these above are not an exhaustive list of the stain colors available, these colors do compose some of the most commonly chosen stain tints. All the colors above are a natural or translucent stain tint and provide protection, while enhancing the natural beauty and grain of the wood. We use stains manufactured in Ontario, Canada that are specifically engineered to perform in our rugged Canadian climate.
